BioI am a laboratory administrator, from a long line of assistants, on my father's side. I am still uncomfortable with my inheritance from my mother's side of the family. My half-brother laughs a great deal at my issues in reconciling my upbringing in Father’s society with Mother’s… gifts.
I studied in Beetleburg, and received my degree in Laboratory Management almost twenty years ago. I apprenticed in Naples under Professor Olmec‘s administrator, and was arrested with the rest of the staff when the Professor broke the Baron’s peace in his attempt to create a chain of volcanic islands, for the land bridge to the Americas.
The arrest was a formality, as most of us were assigned probation in the Baron’s service, to prove or disprove our usefulness. Professor Olmec writes often, and is much happier in Reykjavik; I wish him well. If it were not for the arrest, I would have never had the opportunity to work with the Baron, a brilliant scientist and most considerate employer.
I also would not have met my husband, Iandad Griggs, a mechanic in the employ of Baron Wulfenbach. Our courtship officially began at the end of my probation, and we were married a year and a day after that.
We have one child, a boy named Wolfgang, who is a spark in the making, which surprised us both. While it is possible for the spontaneous generation of sparks to occur in any family line, it is disconcerting to watch them bloom. If it were not for the excellent help with the employee nursery school, I doubt any of us would have survived. He is attending a maximum-security preparatory school, while he waits for an apprenticeship opportunity on the BLS Castle Wulfenbach.
I am currently employed by the Baron in the Consulate in Caledon, which at first blush I thought rather odd, considering my credentials. However, events upon my arrival have convinced me this is nothing more than another type of laboratory.
I also manage a pub, der Hut des Jaeger, in Winterfell Absinthe.
I am, erm... rather fond… of libraries.
